Leaves Leaves and More Leaves

Madelyn and Mallory had sleepover company (Ali) this weekend and boy they had me on my toes. They actually played really well together they just kept me up way past my bedtime on Saturday night. They put on a few musical shows for me and I didn't have my camera at the time. On yesterday they had the great idea of going out and raking up my leaf covered yard and playing. I did not have a problem with that because it meant that I didn't have to do it. Anyway they had a blast raking them up and jumping in them along with Tex. I had fun watching.

Let's play hide and seek with Tex!

They make good little helpers!

Indian For A Day

Madelyn had to dress up for Thanksgiving at school and her choices were to dress up like an Indian or a Pilgrim. Well, she didn't like the Pilgrim costume so here's my little Indian. I was able to join her for a Thanksgiving feast at school. A little chaotic but lot's of good food and I really enjoyed being able to sit with her and her classmates.

Clothes Basket Conversation

Now she is over the embarrasment and wanting to pose for the camera.
After being a little embarrased but tickled she tried to hide from me in the basket.

As I'm plundering through the laundry room looking for my computer cords I turn to find Mad has found a new way of chilling out while talking to Aunt Lisa on the telephone.....sitting in my wicker laundry basket.

Samantha's Birthday Party

Chris and Samantha.
Chris is my newest, bestest (not a word, I know) friend. She is an awesome person with 3 wonderful kids...Samantha, Jimmy and Sadie. We met through NWRAA Cheer and we clicked immediately. We have alot of the same likes and dislikes. Anyway this is a few pictures of Sam's recent birthday party that me, Madelyn and Mallory attended.

Sam and friends. Can you believe they actually went swimming at the end of October. The water was sooooo cold.

Sunning....Trying to warm up from the cold water.

MOM......I'm Freezing but I'm having FUN .

Sweet little Sadie with mouth full of blue. Must have been a really good ring pop.

Mad's Extracurricular Activites

NWRAA Cheer. My friend Chris and I got to coordinate Cheer for NWRAA this year. It was alot of fun...a little stressful at times but we made it through it and developed a close friendship out of it. Mad had a good time and met alot of new friends so I hope that she will continue it next year.

Madelyn and Allie.
Allie's mom Dana was the squad coach. Madelyn and Allie are schoolmates as well.
Her first cheer stunt. I was a little worried but it didn't phase her at all.
Allie :)

Yelling out a cheer

How cute is this. I've been trying to teach her how to do a hurky but she didn't want to show that one. Maybe I looked goofy doing it or something...you know...I am 34 now and haven't cheered since highschool.

We are now done with Fall Soccer and Cheer. My what are we gonna do with ourselves with nowhere to be. Madelyn really got into soccer this year so it was alot of fun. She was actually aggressive at times.

Running after the ball.

In Action

This is Madelyn's "Hey I Made A Goal" face. Cute huh.

Other Family Members

Mad and Bug
This is Katie or "Bug" as we sometimes call her. We adopted Katie from a pound in Memphis a couple of months ago. She has a very sweet disposition.

This is Tiffie better know as Scooter because she likes to scoot across the floor on her tummy. Scooter is about 9 years old and has been the best dog I've ever had. Hopfully she has many more years to go. We also adopted a Lhaso Apso a few months ago and her name is Katie. I will have to take a picture of her and put on the blog. She is a very sweet dog.

This is my buddy, Tex. He was suppose to be a wonderful duck dog for Chris but Tex changed his mind and decided to be my buddy. He is a sweetheart.

This is Charlie better known as "Little Terror". He loves me and Mad but Chris wants him to find a new home. NOT LIKELY.
